Job Opening: Project Director (PD) for TECC (Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California). PD manages the multi-million dollar statewide project, leads a team that provides an array of resources and support for educators, advocates, and policymakers involved in tobacco prevention and control. Services include two websites (TobaccoFreeCatalog.org and tecc.org), library (reference/research/Rover), Smokers’ Helpline Quit Kit and educational resource distribution. New feature includes building an online network to connect experts and information with the field. Must have strong track record of project management, budgeting/fiscal experience, and managing technology-heavy projects.  Need: excellent organizational and personnel management skills; experience working on government contracts; marketing/social media experience; and, building relationships with various stakeholders/collaborators/partners. Familiarity with public health programs a plus, esp. tobacco control. Must have ability to manage multiple priorities. Position reports to ETR’s VP of Program Services and is a senior member of Department’s management team.
