This fact sheet provides information on the upcoming California Coastal Cleanup Day on September 15, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. During the 2010 California cleanup, 362,881 total smoking-related materials (335,320 cigarettes/cigarette filters, 2,921 cigarette lighters, 16,072 cigar tips, and 8,568 tobacco packs/wrappers) were collected.
